It's the sense of touch.
In any real city, you walk, you know? You brush past people, people bump into you. In L.A., nobody touches you. We're always behind this metal and glass.

I think we miss that touch so much, that we crash into each other, just so we can feel something.

This is amazing. Not only is this great wall of water in the background simply amazing, but there are even these little pebbles in front of it which also draw attention.
Upon reading the quote in the description I'm brought to look at the picture in a new light: how lonely those pebbles seem to look, and how intense that crash is.
